Speak Freak…

Congratulations, Robert, on being the big winner! Jeff won't charge you the special handling fees. I lost the last 40+ seconds of the game also.
Thanks Jeff!

Hey, how did I finish 7th? Oh well, who cares how. Mark, do you want me to help you with your picks next year?

Jeff, thanks again for another enjoyable ride up and down that slippery slope.

PS-Jeff, I guess Stacey needs to help you with your picks next year.

No problem, Rob. But in order to secure your winnings I will need you to mail me a certified check for the full amount of your prize money plus a $50 non-refundable handling fee. Please add another $50 if you would like me to expedite the processing of your awards.

jeff
please give me my prize money in bills smaller than $50s. Thanks.

Great tourney, but a terrible ending with Jennifer Hudson singing "One Shining Moment."

Rob, nice work.

As always, I think I am most impressed with my wife. She proves you need no sports knowledge to do well.

Rudy and Jacobsen... poor.

Eric, Blubbermaster rulez.

Awesome. Thunderstorm knocks out satellite signal with 43 seconds left in the championship and Butler down by 1.

Is it over yet?

Way to go Stacey....

So much for me being able to utilize this tourney to my advantage in my marriage...awgh!!!

Hmmm, the current top three are all math teachers. The odds of that happening are 1 in 5,649,149.

That was painful to watch.

All of that to say: if KSt takes it all I will have gone from the basement to the top.

Today's games:

  • 0 of 47 predicted the West region final between Butler (#5) vs. K-State (#2)
  • 31 of 47 predicted the East region final between Kentucky (#1) and West Viriginia (#2)
  • 19 people picked K-State (#2) to win the West region, 23 picked Syracuse (#1), and the remaining 5 picked Pittsburgh (#3)
  • 26 picked Kentucky (#1) to win the East region, 19 picked West Virginia (#2), and the other two people picked Marquette (#6) and Wisconsin (#4)

Tomorrow's games:

  • 0 of 47 predicted the Midwest region final between Michigan State (#5) vs. Tennessee (#6) ...no surprise there since 25 of 47 had Kansas to win it all
  • 17 of 47 predicted the South region final between Duke (#1) and Baylor (#2)
  • No one picked Michigan State to be in the Midwest regional final and only 2 picked Tennessee to be there.
  • 8 picked Baylor (#3) to win the South region, 23 picked Duke (#1), 14 picked Villanova (#2), and the remaining 2 picked Louisville (#9) and Purdue (#4)

That Ohio State loss has got to hurt.

Baby and Baby, congrats on the KState shoot-out ... that was INSANE ... you're right, Baby, I'm not sure I've ever seen so many clutch 3s!! Nice.

i'm getting nervous

Wow! You're right Art. Send that one right to ESPN Classic.

Pins and needles for 3 straight hours.

I've never seen so many clutch 3s.

Is anyone watching this K-State Xavier game? This is a classic.

Well...it was a great weekend. I will enjoy being at the top for now.

Hi just checking in...

oh there I am, still on the bottom

FYI... your brackets are now working again (to be printed).

Happy for State, but bummed my Terrapins aren't moving on :(

What an ending to the Michigan State game.

cornell, my new favorite team

OhioSt. looks about as quick on their feet as their football offensive line. Where do they find these slugs?

I wish I had the mind of my 5 year old - the only one I know the picked the Panthers over the Jayhawks. Because "Panthers are cooler".
Nice work still Pihl! You'll make a great AP Stats teacher!

Just so you know, the NCAA had its national champion crowned last night, in wrestling, and the winner for the 3rd straight year and 23rd overall, is the Iowa Hawkeyes! Now if they only had a basketball team, or a coach!

All the sudden things don't look so bad for yours truly. Thank you Kansas for helping to ease the way for KState to win it all. Ya'll are gonna be sorry when they do. Especially you, Hartman.
