Speak Freak…

Is it over yet? Johnson: you'll never read this, but don't for a second think this makes up for lack of prowess in the bowl pool.

Eric said because we share the same first name, I don't have to pay him. It's sort of this unspoken deal all us Eric's have with each other.

I always thought they were a cute couple. Sort of the Brad Pitt - Angelina Jolie of our prime.

Murmur-

Thanks for everything with this site...nice work as always!!!!

Eric J.,

Congrats on winning the first annual XLARGE NCAA Tourney.

Not only did you win, you also were spot on for the tiebreaker total. The only one. Nice!

* See stats page for tiebreaker differences.

This is amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNtdus5AXK8&feature=channel

Someone got a video of Rudy in an alternate world where he didn't get married.

Derek, maybe you'd agree that this site needs what every site needs.

A link to B.A. Baracus.

"Lock-box"

Eric Johnson's prize if he wins it all?: a gold plated spread-sheet embossed with this years bracket.

The freak is way more entertaining than this tourney.

At least it is for me.

I just checked the half-time score. How pathetic. That's great that MSt. is the emotional favorites given Detroit's economic decline. But MSt. is showing their about as reliable as those cars coming out of that state. And Obama forcing a shot-gun wedding of Fiat onto Chrysler makes about as much sense as getting Madonna and Sean Penn back together. Eric, there's your old, obscure reference to go along with Pinky and the Brain. I was there. I was there watching those posts have the lifespan of a house fly.

The "chops"? This speak freak has been overlooked by the people playing, like a roting easter egg hiding in the grass (how's that for timely) I'm here making Pinky and the Brain jokes and where are you Derek??? Where are you!?!?

Since I'm the only one with the chops to use this thing I'll answer back at my own post.

Uh, it was over for you a long time ago.

Snap.

Is it over yet?

Great game! Go Spartans!

Eric J., you're golden.

I'm in 13th place?!?!
How did that happen?

Jeff, Baby, do I get any MONEY for last place?! Every good pool has a "Big Loser" prize!

This year I picked all the ORANGE teams. Dang. Orange has never ever let me down before.

Elite 8:
1 from ACC
1 from Big Ten
2 from Big 12
4 from Big East
How's that?

Oh gee, what an exciting tournament. The 1,2, and 3 seeds have advanced to the final eight. I couldn't be more enamored with anticipation for the next round. It's going to be very hard for me to peel myself away from the tv. Does the number 3 seed even have a chance at all against the number 1 seed? The suspense is too much!

Andy. Ouch. Last place secured.

You know something has gone wrong when Chad Perry:
1.) picks against Duke
2.) is in the top 10 in the standings

Nice pickin Charles...!

The Brain: Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so Brain, but if Jeff really is a cyborg sent back through time with the purpose of killing us with meaningless statistics, wouldn't it be more fun for him to make us all think were chickens first?

XLARGE SITE UPDATE:

I've just added the picked champion column to the statistics page.

Would you like some blood sausage, I happen to have some here in the glove compartment.

If this pool isn't doing it for you, check out this one for next year:

Tournament of Meat

Narf!

QUICK STAT:

Only 5 people have picked a region 100% correct so far:

Mitch Emig - 2 regions (West and South)
Steve Kalter - 1 region (South)
Bob Griffin - 1 region (West)
Albert Martin - 1 region (West)
Chris Benson - 1 region (West)

Unfortunately for Chris, he's lost too many in the other regions for it to matter, including his pick for Champion.

QUICK STAT:

After rounds 1 and 2, the average of the combined points of the game is 140.3542.
